I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mother. May the love of family, friends, and Almighty God bring you comfort and support during your time of grief and afterward. (Ps. 83:18; Isaiah 41:10) May your precious memories of her and the hope of her resurrection on a restored earth bring you peace. (Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:11, 29)

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Council's passing. Her oil business was a life saver for me at times when I really needed help. She once told me that they made sure that I had oil in my tank even when my funds were low and I had to pay with a post dated check. Jesus spoke of neighbors like that who go above lip service. I know that I was not the only recipient of your kind generosity. RIP Mrs. Sadie. I look forward to the time when you arise with no infirmity and perfection. Jesus promised us this resurrection hope.

Oh how I respected and loved your sweet mother.... I know all of you will miss her dearly just as many of her friends will... me included. Cherish the memories and hold them dear to your hearts. Remember, God provides each of us comfort. Psalm 147:3 - "He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds." I love each of you and will keep you in my prayers.

To the family of Mrs Sadie Council,

My prayers and thoughts are with each of you doing your mom's transition. What a beautiful woman, inside and out. Always made me feel welcome at her home. I don't think anyone in Fayetteville, Cumberland County could fry fish like Mrs Council along with the hot water cornbread. When this family left Second Baptist Church to move to Lewis Chapel. It left a void that could never be filled. Each of you have been blessed to come up in such a wonderful family. May God continue to bless and keep each of you. Many of my greatest sermons were preached in her home.

My deepest condolences to the Thompson/Council family:
Life indeed does take its turns. And when someone has been around for 75 years and falls asleep in death they have made beautiful memories to cherish. They will be missed. And, my heart aches for you. May you look forward to the Most High God of Comfort fulfilling His promises (Psalms 83:18 & 2Corinthians 1:3, 4).
Notice what He promises: Revelations 21:4 ( No more pain, tears, sorrow or death) and He even says where they are (Daniel 12:2), and the beautiful resurrection hope (John 5:28, 29) and where they will be ( Psalms 37:11) and how long (Psalms 37:29). I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to us when our precious daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death. I truly understand the deep pain of losing a loved one.

Please hold onto those precious promises yes, seeing our loved ones again in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24).
My deep deep heartfelt sympathy,
Sissy

Renee,
So saddened by the news of your mother's passing. I remember how kind she always was to me. She and I shared many laughs over the years. I know your heart must be broken, but rejoice in the fact that now she is resting at the feet of her Savior, Whom she loved and served so faithfully. Psalm 116:15 says "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints." There is rejoicing in heaven right now...

God giveth his beloveth rest. Mrs. Council was a quiet, faithful woman of strength. Cherish her memories and share them with others. Remind others of the little smile that she always greeted you with, no matter how she felt. With God's grace and your support, she endured heartache and pain with grace and dignity. Family, be encouraged by the way you rallied around her and supported her in everything. Continue to do that for your remaining family members. God will and is blessing and strenthening you for the days ahead.
Love, Wanda R. Lawrence

Dear Council Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Times like this can be very difficult to deal with. At times, you may feel like there is no one to turn to. You may even feel like no one understands your pain. But there is one person we can turn to that can help us through all of our trials. Yes, God can help you during this difficult time. Pray to him constantly and he will help you. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4 Isa. 26:19)

To the families and loved ones of Sadie Council, who we know will be dearly missed. Almighty God promised at Revelation 21:4 that he will wipe away all our tears. And death, pain, and sorrow will be no more. So you can take great comfort in drawing close to God in prayer. And he will sustain and help support your families to endure. During this difficult times and in the months to follow. My deepest condolences to all of your loved ones.
