Dear McDonald/Pierce Family:
I am so sorry for your loss. The scriptures are very clear and encouraging. They give us what we need to endure these types of trials. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 tells us that our heavenly father is the God of tender mercies and the God of ALL comfort. Jehovah also promises us that he will resurrect our loved ones at Acts 24:15. I hope that these scriptures make you feel a little better. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dear Family,
I am sorry to learn about the passing of your mother. I have very fond memories of her as a third grade teacher, at Swan's Creek Elementary School in the early sixties. Mrs. McDonald was a super teacher. She was very loving and made attending school worthwhile and fun. May Day was a favorite. She played a very important in helping the students get ready to wrap the Maypole. Everybody loved May Day!
She worked with some excellent teachers such as Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Burton,
Mrs. Andrews, Mrs. Sherman, Mrs. Hawkins, Mr. Suggs, Mr. Spots, Mrs. Shipp, and others. They all were great role models and CLASSY. That was over fifty years ago!! Tonight, I salute Mrs.McDonald for providing an excellent learning experience for ALL the students at Swan's Creek Elementary School. I pray that God will comfort your hearts as you travel this road. He will do it.

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. McDonald. She taught my children at Swan's Creek Elementary School, which no longer exist in the Gray's Creek Community today . My children loved her dearly because she was an excellent teacher. She was one of the greatest teachers in the community. We were blessed to have her. Now, she is resting from her labor. May God bless the family.

Ms. McDonald was my 4th grade teacher. She was one of the best teacher the Cumberland County School system every had. She instilled the nourishing that a teacher needed to give to her students, so that they could go out into the world and gain success. I owe my success to Mrs. McDonald because she would always tell me that I could be anything that I want to be, but first ā€œIā€ needed to be myself. From that day forward, I strived to be myself. I appreciated her nourishing as teacher and mentor. Mrs. McDonald you will be missed.
Respectfully,
Cassandra Whitted McMillan
