Mamie Minnie (Locke) Thompson

Mrs. Mamie Thompson, 93 of 2805 Eldorado Rd, Fayetteville, departed this life on May 28, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 6, 2015 at 12:00 Noon in the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Rockfish Memorial Park. 

Left to cherish her memories are: one son, Elbert Thompson (Barbara) of Fayetteville, North Carolina; three daughters, Catherine Council (Stacey) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Sadie Council; and Vernetta Jones (Melvin) of Fayetteville, North Carolina; twenty-seven grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; nieces, and nephews; one sister, Mary Rose Durant of Silver Spring, Maryland; one daughter-in-law, Grace M. Thompson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and many adopted daughters.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home and other times at the home of Melvin & Mable Jones 6303 Lynette Circle Fayetteville NC
