I am very sorry for your loss. May you take comfort in knowing that Reginald is only asleep in death and that soon Jesus will awaken him. (John 11:11-14) In God’s new Kingdom for which we pray, we will never have to mourn the loss of our loved ones again. (Matt. 6:10; Psalm 37:11, 29; Rev. 21:4) I hope this brings you peace.

Reggie was one of the first people I met when moving to Fayetteville leaving the United States Marine Corps to attend FSU. It is hard to believe that was over 37 years ago.

We rented a house together became very close and he accepted me as apart of his family. He introduced me to Troy and the three of us became Inseparable, like brothers we shared, clothes, cars , Jobs and dreams.

Reggie loved his family, he was a protector with an infectious laugh, A distinct style, that was all Reggie. Each one of us wanted to be the best of the other one of us- we were very competitive, yet would come to the aid of the other at the drop of a dime.

His memory will remain with me until my final day.

I cannot replace the love he had for his family. Reggie, was one of a kind.

However ,I extend myself to you the same love, respect and gratitude he extended to me, he will forever be my brother, my friend.

I, will forever be your son, your brother, your friend.

I love you man
Your Brother-
Emanuel

To the McLean family I give my deep condolences. Losing a precious loved one to the sting of death is Never easy. I would like share what helped us when our daughter Deidra (Dee) fell asleep in death 3 years ago and now the lost of my precious husband of 50 years.

Oh, how I appreciated the love from the friends & family from the many Congregations across the United States. But, what helped the Most was the gift that the Most High God gave to us, yes the Bible (Psalm 83:18 & 2Timothy 3:16). Contained in that precious Book are His words of comfort & reassurance. Please, notice how God's own son Jesus viewed death at John 11:11-14. Yes, His precious son viewed death as one sleeping and not that they are here or there but just sleeping.

May you look forward to the time of seeing your loved one again in perfect health (John 5:28, 29, Isaiah 33:24 & Psalm 37:11). I hope that you will find time to read these comforting Scriptures.

I deeply understand the lost is great & the pain is real. But, God can give you the strength to endure.

Love & Sympathy sent,
Sissy

Dear family,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. May you find strength to endure this difficult time. 2 corinthians 1;3,4 helps us to see that God is with us during our trials and we can lean on him to help us. Although death can be very hard on us may you find peace, hope and joy in knowing that soon there is going to be a resurrection and we will see our loved ones again Acts 24:15.
