Melvin "Speedy" B. Smith

Mr. Melvin "Speedy" Smith, age 54 of 4260 Doc Bennett Road Fayetteville NC departed this life on August 22, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: sisters, Catherine Shaw, Faye Matthews, Annie Smith, and Linda Byrd; and a host of family and friends. 

There will be a viewing on Friday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Family will receive friends during other times at 403 Scotland Drive, Fayetteville.
